What is the difference between VStitcher™ and VStyler™?
VStitcher™ has both 3D and 2D environments, while VStyler™ is exclusively a 3D platform. VStitcher™ is used by designers as well as pattern makers, enabling them to work with 3D images, modifying 2D patterns accordingly. VStyler™ is strictly a designer's tool, providing the freedom to play with the design of textures, fabrics and styles with immediate, life-like, 3D imaging.
What is Cme™? What is it used for?
- Cme is a 3D viewer used for display of virtual garments and HTML catalogues.
- Cmes communication feature enables it to be used as a tool for collaborating with colleagues in remote locations.

- Do I need to have VStitcher on my PC in order to view HTML catalogues with Cme?
- No. All you need do is download Cme, free of charge.
What is the difference between the standard and the professional versions of VStitcher?
The professional version includes the communications module, which is not part of the standard version. This module is used to establish online, real time, communication sessions from a VStitcher station to 3-D viewers in any number of worldwide locations over the Internet.

Does VStitcher work with all CAD systems?
Yes. VStitcher integrates with all CAD systems currently on the market through a simple exchange of DXF files. A direct interface with Gerber AccuMark is available.
Can VStitcher\Browzwear create animation?
Yes! Browzwear creates animation as an on-demand service per customer request.

What are the Hardware/OS requirements?
Minimum hardware requirements to install and smoothly run VStitcher include:
- Pentium 4
- 256 MB of RAM
- Graphic card, min 64 Mb INTEGRATED
- For communication: Http Internet Connection
The following hardware requirements are recommended for optimal performance:
- Pentium 4, 3 GHz or higher
- 512 MB of RAM or more
- 2 GB of available hard disk space
- For single screen workstation 128MB or more, Nvidia 6800, ATI 9600, 9800 or later
- For multi-screen workstation Nvidia Quadro NVS, or later

What does the installation CD contain?
On the installation CD you can find:

- Bank of textures (fabrics, seams & attachments)

Avatars:
How many basic avatars are there?
- The Browzwear program includes10 avatars - 3 women, 3 men, 2 dress forms, a girl and a baby.
- Using over 100 modifiers and body shapers, 95% of companies create their own avatars based on our basic models.
Is it possible to insert virtual models other than the Browzwear avatars?
Yes. Any 3-D scan in 3DS format can be inserted
What is a custom-made avatar?
This refers to an avatar specially made by Browzwear’s 3-D artists to meet customer specifications, and based on 3-D scans of the required model. This service is provided by customer request.
What is the quality of a custom made avatar?
Browzwear’s 3-D artists can produce a wide range of avatars to varying quality requirements depending on customer needs and budget.

Simulation:
Can VStitcher simulate thick garments (such as quilted coats)?
The garment can be stitched, but the thickness is not obvious in the virtual display.
Can VStitcher simulate suits?
Yes it can, but without the appearance of shoulder pads.
Can VStitcher design women's bras?
- V-Stitcher is perfect for designing underwear, including bras, and is highly recommended both for design and merchandising.
- Different avatars should be created to accommodate the specific brassier, for example, under-wired, pushups, sports, pointed bras, and so on.
Can VStitcher simulate seamless garments?
Yes. Special support and training is recommended.
Can I see and simulate details on the under side of the garments?
The underside of a garment can be explored for fit. Textures and details of the underside are not currently visible.
Can I create\simulate any other products with VStitcher, such as shoes, bags, and so on?
- For now, VStitcher is focusing on virtual garments, but any 3-D object such as shoes, hats and bags can be included as accessories.
- Special objects can be created by Browzwear’s 3-D artists by request as an extra customer service.

Where do I get patterns for use in VStitcher?
Patterns are imported into V-Stitcher from a CAD system by means of DXF exchange.
Can I create a pattern in VStitcher?
Yes. New patterns can be created in VStitcher by using the various VStitcher 2-D tools.
Can I use my own fabric lab results for the fabric's physical properties?
- There are many standard industry tests that can be used.
- A special Fabric Testing Kit is available for purchase from Browzwear.
